Rerwick Beach is a brilliant place to see Shetland’s seals, common and grey.

 

Sumburgh Head/Puffins

Sumburgh Head is a RSPB nature reserve. It is accessible and you can see seabirds during the summer breeding season.

Castle Viewpoint

The road leaving Scalloway winds up the hill and the castle viewpoint is an excellent place to stop for photos of the whole area.
